Buddy Center
The Dumb Friends League has two shelters for homeless pets – the main Quebec Street shelter and administrative offices in Denver, and the Buddy Center shelter in Castle Rock. These full-service shelters offer adoptions, pet intake, lost and found services, behavior and humane education classes for the public. The Dumb Friends League also has cat adoption partnerships with Petco and PetSmart. These off-site adoption facilities have greatly increased our cat adoptions, helping us meet our goal of finding more homes for adult cats in the metro area.
