With the economy rebounding, new businesses are popping up all over Parker. We were excited to welcome CarMax to the 9-acre site on the corner of Ponderosa Drive & East Lincoln Avenue. We weren’t exactly sure what CarMax was so we did a little research.
CarMax offers a stress-free, straightforward buying process as well as a fast and free appraisal process

Things you should already be thinking about before you go into the new CarMax are what are you looking for in your next car? Do you need more space for your growing family? Less space because the kids have moved away? What’s most important to you, gas efficiency or luxury?
We live in Parker, so pretty much everyone needs a 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive unless you are looking for that pretty older mustang to drive only in the summer. Do you want updated features like blue-tooth, remote start, keyless entry or a sunroof? Make sure you have all of that thought out before starting your search for a new car. The thing that’s great about CarMax is that they won’t make you spend an entire day at the dealership with the salesperson and his invisible sales manager.
One thing that CarMax does for its Denver buyers is to transfer any used all-wheel drive or 4WD to Denver for free and you don’t have to commit to buying it for that to happen. The haggling with the dealership has got to be everyone’s LEAST favorite thing about buying a new car and we are excited to have one of these locations coming right here to our town. This new location will also be providing jobs for locals so that’s a big win-win for us.
Used Subaru’s are in short supply in Douglas County but CarMax had several that would be great for that new driver at your house including this beauty.
Currently, in the Denver metro area, there are two CarMax locations, Parker will be the third.
