Spring officially arrives in Downtown Boulder when the vibrant Tulip Fairy, along with pint-sized fairies and elves, parade around the Pearl Street Mall ‘welcoming the tulips’. This beloved springtime tradition features special events and activities for girls and boys and celebrates the more than 15,000 tulips that adorn the world-renowned Pearl Street Mall throughout the spring season. The event includes live stage performances, face painting, free activities for children, and more!

Tulips are one of the things that grow as well in Colorado as they do in more humid places. They are so easy to grow, the only hard part is to remember to order them in the summer so you can plant in the fall.
The Pearl Street Mall is always full of excitement but this last weekend in April is a particularly beautiful time to head to Boulder and enjoy. The banks of tulips are in full bloom with fairies of all shapes and sizes flitting through the tulips.
